ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE

PROGRAM MANILA

1335MABINI's Artist-in-Residency program provides time and space for Filipino and non-Filipino artists, curators and creators to conduct research or to develop and execute creative projects.

Launched in 2013, the Artist-in-Residency program welcomes artists, curators, researchers and writers as well as institutions and ministries to apply for a residency with a minimum duration of one month and a maximum of three months.

1335MABINI’s Artist-in-Residency program facilities include a studio and a living space. Artist-in-Residency program provides an air-conditioned bedroom, private bathroom (without water heater) and a private studio space. Electricity, water, bed sheets, towels, drinking water and regular cleaning are included in the fee. The artist is responsible for her/his private expenses and transportation. Upon arrival the artist will be introduced to the space and be informed about the area. 1335MABINI's premises have private security service.

We will assist in customizing the residency program based on individual needs and interests. Bearing interest in the creative process, the proposed projects are considered to be temporary. However, 1335MABINI cannot commit in advance to include an exhibition within the premises of the gallery.
