1335MABINI artist Kiri Dalena represents the Philippines at the 2016 Busan Biennale at the Busan Museum of Art, Korea. It will be held on September 3 to November 30.

Dalena (b. 1975) is an acclaimed visual artist and filmmaker known internationally for her works that lay bare the social inequalities and injustices that continue to persist, particularly in the Philippines. A recipient of the CCP Thirteen Artists Award in 2012, her works have been featured in the Singapore Biennale (2013), Yokohama Triennale (2014), and the Asia Pacific Triennal of Contemporary Art (2015).
